Basic knowledge of stamping die terminology
1. Curl
Curling is a stamping process in which the edges of the processed components are wound into almost closed circles. The axis of a curled circle is linear.
2. Rolling edge
Crimping edges is a stamping process in which the upper edge of the hollow component is wound into an almost closed circle.
3. Drawing
Stretching is a stamping process in which straight wool or machined parts are bent. The curved surface is mainly formed by the extension of the material at the bottom of the punch.

Bending is a stamping process in which bending deformation is achieved under the combined action of tension and bending moment, and the entire bending cross-section is subjected to tensile stress.
